Lernziel: Heranführen an das Niveau B1 des Europäischen Referenzrahmens für Sprachen (GER), im Englischen CEFR
Learning goal:
In this intensive refresher course, participants revise and deepen their English skills at CEFR level A2 and are gradually guided towards level B1, with a strong focus on speaking and communication in everyday and work-related situations.
Voraussetzungen: Sie haben in der Vergangenheit über Kenntnisse vergleichbar der Stufe B1 verfügt, die jetzt noch zwischen den Stufen A2 und B1 des Europäischen Referenzrahmens für Sprachen liegen. In diesem Fall sind Sie im Refresher-Bereich richtig. Der Kurs ist für alle offen, auch wenn er nicht im Rahmen eines Bildungsurlaubs besucht wird.
Entry requirements: English skills at CEFR level A2.
Target group:
Anyone interested in continuing education who would like to refresh and deepen their English in a short time and become more confident in speaking.

After completing the course, participants will be able to:
- talk more confidently about themselves, their families, work and free time
- understand and take part in simple conversations at work and while travelling
- ask for and give information (directions, prices, appointments, preferences, opinions)
- handle typical situations on the phone and in short emails
- talk about past experiences, current activities and future plans using common tenses
- take part in small talk about food, culture, travel and living situations
- use a wider range of vocabulary and useful phrases for everyday and workplace communication
Course length:
5 days, each with 8 teaching units (45 minutes per unit).
